MELODIES ...
Håkan Rydin's first CD as a solo pianist. The double CD is called Melodies ... Originals, and more (CD1) and Standards, and more (CD2).
It was recorded in August 2018 in the concert hall (VNAM) in Hanoi, Vietnam on their new, nice Steinway grand piano.
Håkan Rydin has many years and extensive activities in Vietnam with concerts, both as a solo pianist and with groups. It was as a result of this that he was offered to make this recording in Hanoi.
The music is a mixture of standard songs and Håkan's original compositions.
He has performed in over 20 countries with concerts in Tokyo, Beijing, New York, Paris and Moscow. Edmonton Journal (Canada) described his style as “lyrical and cooking”.
Håkan’s long-awaited solo debut includes  beautiful melodies and delicioua harmonies,  served pleasantly and very tasty. The sound is superbly good and his touch on the Steinway grand piano deliver a generous mix of songs.
